When she was only 38, Sonia was diagnosed with breast cancer. This young mother of two entered the race of a lifetime in her passion for beating the disease. Today, five years later, Sonia has won her battle and is actively supporting Komen Sacramento's efforts to win the war. She leads one of the largest race teams, that over the last four years has raised $96,174. Sonia, like so many of our registrants, is inspired to save lives. Survivors and activists alike are making an impact on the disease, and will not stop until we've reached our goal.
