Sac Valley AIDS Run/Walk 2010

This past Sunday, September 12th was Sacramento Valley's AIDS 10th annual charity walk! As an active participant for the past four years it gave me great pleasure to be apart of this event again this year! The last two years I have had to walk to journey alone due to my best friend Maharisha succumbing to the effects of a stroke, but I don't mind doing so because it is a life-worthy cause... besides my participation in the walk honors the memory of my uncle Charles Wilkins who passed away from AIDS almost 20 years ago.

Anyway, while waiting to walk the beautiful 5k around the quaint mid-town section of the city I decided to take a second look around my surroundings and to my surprise I discovered a very beautiful side of the city that captured my heart.

Please feel free to donate towards the annual collection for research for a cure. Visit my personal site here to donate. The name is Kesha York-Jenkins for reference purpose when donating.

Thank you all and I look forward to walking for the cause again next year!
Peace & Blessings,

CWest
